Well, Mainstage 2009 is over and congratulations are in order for the many winners. You can see a full list of the award recipients here. Get Real’s Stephen Torrence earned the top award for Lighting Design for “Eleemosynary”. The cast was awarded an Honourable Mention for Best Ensemble, and Karen Golden received an Honourable Mention for Best Actress. A special certificate of significant achievement for a first-time director was also presented to Stephen Torrence. All in all, a great achievement for our little group in its very first season. Joanna, our “Artie” wrote about it in her blog.
