About Get Real

We formed Get Real Theatre because we wanted to produce some of the wonderful plays we had read, but rarely seen on stage. Filled with enthusiasm for the stories being told we simply had to find a way to share those stories with theatre lovers like ourselves.

Along with a small group of like-minded individuals we formed Get Real Theatre in 2008 and immediately launched our first production; “Eleemosynary” by Lee Blessing, in the Spring of 2009.

We partnered with the Delta Arts Council to offer five performances in Tsawwassen and North Delta, and with Opening Nite Theatre in Mission for three performances there.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are now considering scripts for the 2009/10 season.
